Privacy Policy

Bathcraft ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or request a quote, and how we use it, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address and postcode.
• Project details: type of work, budget, preferred start date and any notes you add.
• Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working.

How we use your information

• To contact you about your quote and arrange a survey.
• To plan, deliver and follow up on your renovation.
• To meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations.

Our legal basis is your request for a quote (steps before a contract), our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

Sharing your information

If you choose to create an AI photo brief, your uploaded bathroom photo and renovation goals are sent to our AI processing service through Lovable AI Gateway. Avoid including people, documents or other private information in your photo. We do not store the photo with your quote request. The brief you review and submit is stored as part of your project details.

We may share your details with trusted partners who help us deliver your project or run our business, such as suppliers, tradespeople working on your job, and IT providers. We require them to keep your information secure. We never sell your data to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that don't go ahead are kept for up to 24 months. Customer records are kept for up to 6 years for legal and warranty purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
